Juniors

John Hughes & Alan Jones Memorials Cup (heaviest bag) and Robert Jones Shield (heaviest fish).

Two juniors took part with Cian Pritchard winning both trophies.

Butlins Cup (any method)

A total of seven angler took part with the top three as follows :

John Otty 2 fish for 1lb 6oz

John P Owen 2 fish for 1lb 1oz

Les Dolman 1 fish for 9oz

Get Together Shield (fly only)

A total of six angler took part with the top three as follows :

E W Evans 6 fish for 4lb 14oz

Gwilym Williams 3 fish for 4lb 5oz

Trefor Roberts 4 fish for 2lb 15oz

Heaviest fish of 1lb 14oz was caught by Gwilym Williams

Inter club cup with Cefni

The results were :

Cefni had 6 anglers taking 4 fish (all brown trout) at a weight of 5lb 11oz against Pwllheli 5 anglers taking 3 fish (2 brown and 1 rainbow trout) which weighed 5lb 1/2oz

The heaviest bag came from Cefni Jonathan Roberts and the heaviest fish went to Emyr with a brown trout of 2lb 4oz

WSTAA Challenge Shield

This competition was held on Sunday 9th May 2010 at Llyn Cefni starting at 4.00pm fly fishing only with the option to fish from boat or bank.

Eight anglers caught a total of 19 fish comprising 4 Brown Trout and 15 Rainbow Trout.

Inter Club/ H J Jones Memorial Shield

Will be held on Saturday 11th September 2010 at Llyn Cefni start time 2.00pm again fly fishing only from boat or bank.

A reminder that competitions are open to all members. so please come along and make the most of your club.

The Arthur Owen Memorial League

Taking place over six fishing competitions the Arthur Owen Memorial Cup is open to any angler, even day ticket holders.

There is an entrance fee of £2.00 and an optional pool of £1.00.

The fishing competitions are held on the first Sunday of each month, fishing from 1pm until 5pm.
